The always fashionable cosmopolitan

Cosmopolitan recipes abound!  They are the epitome of popular cocktails.  This is due to a few factors:

• how fashionable they are and have been portrayed as being in popular media such as film and television.
• how easy they are on the palate.
• how easy they are to prepare.

Ways to make a cosmo:
There is very little preparation involved in making almost any cosmopolitan recipe.  It is neither difficult or time consuming, hence the popularity of the average cosmo.

Typically when asked how to make a cosmopolitan we will answer "in one of two ways".

1. The traditional method is handshaking the drink with ice and serving it straight in a chilled cocktail glass.
2. The other approach is to serve the drink on the rocks, in which case the ingredients are hand-shaken and strained it into iced tumbler.
