Vodka is now one of the world's most popular spirits, and as with other alcoholic mixers in our cosmopolitan recipes a good quality vodka is the key to a cleaner taste. Its neutral flavor allows it to be mixed into a wide variety of drinks such as the cosmopolitan.

Whilst it doesn't have a strong taste ( all vodka's have a taste of some sort ) it should lend a mild suggestiveness to the final mix, and because of the fantastic flavour citrus can impart to a cosmopolitan a favourite of ours is Absolut Citron.
